Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how Taqitz Advisors LLC (“Taqitz,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information through taqitz.com and our careers portal at careers.taqitz.com (together, the “Sites”), including when you apply for a position with us.
Information we collect
Contact information — the email address you enter to receive an application or status link.
Application information — the information and documents you provide when you apply, such as your resume, transcript, written responses, work history, and credentials, and each change you make while your application is in progress.
Application activity — how you interact with the application form: the date and time you start, save, and submit; the order in which you open fields and how long you spend in each; counts of typed, deleted, and pasted characters; and when you switch away from and back to the application page. We record the number of characters pasted into a field, not the contents of your clipboard, and we do not record keystrokes outside the application form.
Device and connection information — IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address (country, region, and city), time zone, browser type, screen size, and language setting.
Link and email records — when we send you a link, when that link is opened, and from which IP address.
Help requests — questions you ask through the Sites and the answers provided.
We do not ask for your age, date of birth, or dates of school attendance or graduation on the initial application. Where we request a transcript, you may redact those dates. If we invite you to provide voluntary demographic information for equal employment opportunity reporting, it is optional, stored separately, and not shown to the people who review your application.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- evaluate your application and communicate with you about it;
- send the links that give you access to your application and its status;
- verify information you provide, including employment history and credentials;
- protect the integrity and security of the hiring process, including detecting fraud, abuse, and automated misuse;
- remove information that could improperly influence a reviewer, such as photographs or disclosures of protected characteristics, before your application is reviewed; and
- comply with legal obligations and improve our hiring process.
People make hiring decisions. Application activity, including indicators that may suggest the use of AI tools, is provided to our reviewers as information. We do not make hiring decisions solely by automated means.
How we share information
We share information with service providers that host and support the Sites under contractual obligations to protect it: Google Cloud Platform (hosting), Supabase (database and encrypted file storage), and Resend (email delivery). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How we protect information
We apply administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. Application links are unique to you, expire after 36 hours, and can be opened a limited number of times; we store only a one-way fingerprint of each link, not the link itself. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We retain application records for one year after the last activity on the application, as employment law requires, and then anonymize them by removing your name, contact details, documents, written responses, and IP addresses. We keep the anonymized records, such as the position, dates, and outcome, for reporting. We may retain information longer where required by law or to resolve a legal claim.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw your application at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email privacy@taqitz.com; we may need to verify your identity before responding.
Accessibility and accommodations
If you need an accommodation to apply, or the Sites do not work with your assistive technology, email info@taqitz.com and we will provide another way to apply.
Children
The Sites are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes and contact
